This zip file contains four documents regarding the manuscript titled "Measurement of inequality using household energy consumption data in rural China" submitted to Nature Energy. <div><br></div><div>They are: </div><div><div>(1) readme.txt</div><div>Note for computer code and data</div><div><br></div><div>(2) code_energy_inequality_final.DO </div><div>excutable STATA file. </div><div>It is used to compute the GINI coefficient, LAC score, plot the Lorenz curve and other figures, as well as decompose the inequality index. </div><div><br></div><div>(3) pop.DOH</div><div>STATA include file. </div><div>It is used to be included when excute the "code_energy_inequality_final.DO" file.</div><div><br></div><div>(4) gini data for province.DTA</div><div>It is aggregated provincial data file. The variables include provincial Gini coefficient, energy price and others from the CRECS 2013. It is used to plot the Supplementary Figure 4.</div>
